Unfortunated we have not had much success in recreating the issue you are describing. That is why I was leaning more towards a hardware issue. The only variation we saw was between using the 21,22 inks and the 57,58 inks, which would be expected. If you are printing photos use of the 57,58 inks would provide better results. Either way, I am glad you were able to come up with a workaround that works for you. Regards, PrntDr. Tips • The F4180 model has a known issue that occurs when you upgrade your computer from Windows Vista to Windows 7. If the printer stopped working after upgrading to Windows 7, return to the 'Software and Driver' page and choose 'Windows 7.' Click 'Update' and choose the 'HP Print Software Patch When Upgrading Vista to Windows 7' link. Driver Hp Deskjet F 3180 MortgageDouble-click the downloaded file and follow the installation directions. • If your print jobs appear faded or nothing prints at all, you need to replace the ink cartridges. The HP F4180 model uses the 'HP 54' black cartridge and the 'HP 57' color cartridge. After you upgrade the system to Windows 10, if your HP Deskjet printer doesn’t work as you expected or encounter problems, it most properly has driver issues. In this case, you need to fix the driver issues by updating the drivers. New system always has driver compatibility issues, especially for Windows 10. For many manufacturers, they have not released Windows 10 drivers, as Windows 10 was released not long ago. So HP may not release Windows 10 drivers for your printer model. ![]() Hp Deskjet F380HP has declared that Most HP printers in use with Windows 7 or Windows 8 will continue to work smoothly without the need to reinstall drivers. If you upgrade from Windows 7 or Windows 8, your HP Deskjet printer should have worked with no problems. Or you may need to install the latest Windows 10 driver. Following are the common HP Deskjet printers which have Windows 10 drivers. If your printer is one of them, it supports Windows 10.
